Why does my love deny me so.
It leaves me lost,
in an overwhelming seas of despair.
His smile,
It lifts up my soul.
As if towards heaven.
An eternity of yearning,
recognized only by this weight.
So uncomfortable to bear.
Forever in wanting.
Forever I'll wait.
Love Denied

Beautiful words and image. Please don't wait too long.
The heaviness of unloved feelings are heavy indeed - and the picture illustrates it perfectly.
An unfortunate truth graphically highlighted there.
I have to agree with redness... lovely, but don't wait too long.
Sigh. As redness says...

Very beautifully written. Love is a hard thing. I agree, you can't wait forever.
It's a beautiful poem and I hope just poetry :)
To everyone who has commented and those who are wondering. Yes, this poem is pure fiction.
You expressed that kind of pain beautifully.
Very pretty poem. Thanks for visiting my 3WW.
Unrequited love sucks. Some people move on, others spend a lifetime in torment.
The image is alluring and keeps one wondering, beautifully illustrated though.
Thanks for visiting my site.
We've all been there, I'm sure. You describe it so well!
beautiful!
I think for true love I would wait forever, just because I don't want to loose that feeling.
*sigh*
awhh..one song pops into my mind...
"waiting in vain"...
waiting is one thing....waiting for someone who isn't coming is another...
